RESUMO

Este artigo tem como objetivo revelar alguns dos resultados provenientes da avaliao de

alteraes realizadas pelos usurios no projeto original dos tipos habitacionais de doisconjuntos habitacionais - Vila Farrapos (COHAB, fase BNH) e IAPI (anterior a fase BNH),

situados em Porto Alegre. Procura-se estabelecer onde estas alteraes esto ligadas a

aspectos funcionais como disposio e tamanho das pegas, tamanho da moradia como um

todo, aspectos especficos ligados privacidade visual e auditiva, aspectos ligados a questes

estticas, a questes de personalizao e definio do territrio, ou de outra natureza tais

como abrigo para carro e lazer (ex. churrasqueira); procura-se avaliar o impacto destas,

alteraes atravs do nvel de satisfao do usurio em relao a vrios aspectos da

habitao, antes e depois das alteraes. A metodologia utilizada baseia-se em levantamentos

fsicos bastante detalhados da situao atual das moradias e da aplicao de questionrios aos

moradores. Os principais resultados j revelados indicam, p.ex., que o tipo de projeto

arquitetnico utilizado para a produo da habitao popular guarda uma relao estreitacom o tipo de alteraes realizadas pelos seus moradores.

ABSTRACT

The article has the objective of revealing some of the results derived from the evaluation of the

modifications made by users in the original design of housing types in two housing estates -

Vila Farrapos (COHAB - BNH period) and IAPI (before the BNH period), both located in

Porto Alegre. It is investigated whether these modifications are related to functional aspects

such as arrangement and size of rooms, dwelling size, to aural and visual privacy related

aspects, to aspects such as appearance, personalization and territory definition or to other

aspects such as garage and barbecue installation; it is evaluated the impact of these

modifications by means of the degree of user satisfaction in relation to many housing aspects

before and after the modifications. The methodology used is based on detailed physical

measurements of the present dwellings conditions and the application of questionnaires to

residents. The main revealed results indicate that, e.g., the type of design used to produce

social housing has a close link with the type of modifications made by users.
