Es una película romántica y biográfica británica de 2014, dirigida por James Marsh y producida por Anthony McCarten. La película está inspirada por las memorias Travelling to Infinity: My life with Stephen por Jane Hawking, en la cual da a conocer la relación con su ex-esposo el físico teórico Stephen Hawking, su diagnóstico y su proceso físico.
