JPBasic PC General data
JPBasic PCSelf-priming centrifugal pump equipped with presscon-trol (PC) and power supply cable.
ApplicationsAutomatic water lifting sets, particulary suitable fordomestic use, small installations for civil, industrial andagricultural use, washing systems and hobbies. These are characterised by the use of JPBasic PC self-priming centrifugal pumps which can operate evenwhen there is air, gas and small quantities of sand in thewater. They are indispensable for use in artesian wells andwhereever suction difficulties arise.
OperationThe pump is equipped with a Presscontrol (PC) whichcontrols, manages and commands it, regulating its oper-ation, limiting the number of starts and guaranteeingmaximum pressure stability inside the hydraulic circuitin which it is installed.
The automatic devices is the result of a series of studiesconducted to optimise the efficiency of the system whilepreserving the structural features and sturdiness ofexistent devices.
Automatic sets differ from the traditional systemsequipped with a pressure switch based on pump startingand stopping as they avoid sudden variations and dropsin pressure. They are basically equipped with a doublecontrol device, as built-in electrical circuit gathers thedata regarding pressure and water flow in the systemand processes them to allow the pump to operate underoptimum performance conditions.
The automatic device is supplied pre-installed on thepump, requires no type of regulation and considerablyreduces overall dimensions by totally eliminating thebulky tanks used traditional installations.

JPBasic PC General data
Optimised management of the hydraulicinstallation and its components
1. Enables the system to operate only when there is wa-ter present; if, for any reason, no water reaches thesystem, it blocks the pump, so that it does not oper-ate while dry. In this case the ALARM LED lights up.
2. Maintains pump operation when the appliances areopened by one or more users, in order to prevent sud-den changes in pressure. When an appliance isopened the depression created in the system acts onthe membrane which gradually releases a spring. Thesensors detect the movement, send a signal to theelectronic unit which enables pump start-up.
3. Automatically stops the pump when the users stopdrawing water. When the appliances are closed, un-der the effect of the rise in pressure within the hy-draulic system, the membrane totally compresses thespring. This new situation is analysed by the sensorswhich send the unit a signal to stop the pump. Thestop is timed in order to prevent the pump from be-ing subjected to repeated starts caused by usersopening and closing the appliances within a few sec-onds of each other. Furthermore, if boilers are sup-plied, the continuous delivery of hot water isguaranteed by timing the stops.
4. Instant pump start when one of the appliances isopened even with a minimum amount of waterdrawn.
5. In the event of leaks in the system (drips or smalltrickles) the device limits the number of cycles, pro-longing pump running time by about 10 seconds.
6. It eliminates water hammering by means of a spe-cific shock absorber which absorbs the effect.
7. Manual reset in the event of a breakdown in the hy-draulic circuit or of overload protector intervention;in this case, after eliminating the cause, press the"RESET" button positioned on the terminal boardcover for a few seconds until the "ALARM" LEDswitches off.
8. In the event of a power cut, automatic reset as soonas the power is restored.
9. The system is self-protected against overheating.
When there is an excess in temperature inside themotor windings, this operation is carried out auto-matically. It is also restored automatically once thetemperature has dropped below the level whichguarantees operation without damage to the system.
Constructional features of the pump
JPBasic 3 PC, JPBasic 4 PC:Cast iron pump body and motor support treated againstcorrosion also on the inner surface. Technopolymerimpeller, diffuser and Venturi tube. Stainless steel pres-sure discs and rotor shaft. Carbon/ceramic mechanicalseal.

All the pumps are supplied with 0.75 metres of powercable type H05 RN-F with plug.
Constructional features of the automatic control
The automatic device which regulates the pump opera-tion is basically formed of the following components:
FLOW SWITCH SET: this comprises a 4-way metal unionwith two housings for the delivery and pressure sensors. Both their seat and the sensor capsule are structured sothat no pre-calibration is required.
SPRING EXPANSION TANK: manufactured in pressed andflanged stainless steel, this has been designed to ensuremaximum reliability and sturdiness with minimumoverall dimensions. Inside it houses a spring which oper-ates as a pressure switch.
ELECTRONIC CARD: this is composed of a printed circuitwhich receives signals from the sensors and managesthe automatic device as indicated in the paragraphregarding operation. The commands plate with the twoLEDs, green = ON, red = Alarm and the Reset button forresetting the pump is positioned on the terminal boardcover.
CHECK DEVICE: all automatic sets are equipped with acheck valve which has been selected to ensuremaximum long lasting reliability. In order to prevent
operational faults in the system it is essential that theposition of the valve is not changed during assembly.
The automatic control is supplied pre-assembled with allthe accessories.

CHBasic PC General data
CHBasic PC
ApplicationsMultistage horizontal centrifugal pump, featuringextremely silent running suitable for domestic use forwater supply and pressurisation, irrigation of gardensand vegetable gardens, and moving water in general.
OperationThe pump is equipped with a Presscontrol (PC) whichcontrols, manages and commands it, regulating its oper-ation, limiting the number of starts and guaranteeing
maximum pressure stability inside the hydraulic circuitin which it is installed.
They are basically equipped with a doublecontrol device, as built-in electrical circuit gathers thedata regarding pressure and water flow in the system
and processes them to allow the pump to operate underoptimum performance conditions.
The automatic device is supplied pre-installed on thepump, requires no type of regulation and considerablyreduces overall dimensions by totally eliminating thebulky tanks used traditional installations.
When an appliance isopened the depression created in the system acts on
the membrane which gradually releases a spring.
4. Instant pump start when one of the appliances isopened even with a minimum amount of water
drawn.5. In the event of leaks in the system (drips or small
trickles) the device limits the number of cycles, pro-longing pump running time by about 10 seconds.
