Ementa

Concebido para um público em princípio com poucas informações acerca do cinema fantástico, com ênfase na dualidade horror/terror, desdobrando-se em dois módulos dedicados à filmografia estrangeira e brasileira, respectivamente, o curso funcionará como uma reflexão sobre as bases filosóficas, culturais e estéticas que constituem uma leitura negativa da sociedade contemporânea, sob a forma da abjeção, questionando e corroendo os alicerces da vida burguesa clássica. O curso abordará os sub-gêneros, iconografia, estruturas narrativas e padrões estilísticos e estéticos desse cinema a partir de uma filosofia do horror e tendo como marcos históricos a segunda metade do século XX e o início do XXI.
