brasilian naval industry.

Design and construction in the shipbuilding and offshore industry and in mainly hulls for oil

platforms, ships conversion, process modules, integration, drillships, support vessels and any

kind or nature of vessels, as well as fixed installations for use in these segments.

ECOVIX has about 4,000 employees and has hulls construction contracts for eight FPSO for

Quality Control Manager

Main responsibilities:

The shipyard Eisa Petro One is the most experienced and traditional in operation in Brazil,

and is operating in the old premises Estaleiro Mauá. Installed in Ponta D'Areia in Niteroi,

State of Rio de Janeiro. The shipyard Eisa Petro One belongs to the Synergy Group, a

group with several activities on the whole Latin America with emphasis on oil and gas:

Quality Manager and Commissioning

Main responsibilities:

To manage the control activities - quality assurance and commissioning for the shipbuilding of 4

ships from TRANSPETRO : PANAMAX class; CT Anita Garibaldi (EI 511), CT Sister Dulce (EI

512), CT zelí Gattai (EI 513) and EI 514 under construction career. Specification: Gross Tonnage:

72,900 t; Total length: 228 m; Beam: 40 m; Draught: 12 m.

To support the quality plans, inspection and tests plans, and key procedures; management of

quality inspection and payment event releases for each EAP ship. Eisa Petro One have seven

active contracts to build vessels for Transpetro.

To act in the technical evaluation of subcontractors to verify their quality systems.

Responsible to manage the entire quality system, including tests, quality inspection and non-

destructive tests. Interface with the Naval Classification Society - Bureau Veritas (BV) related to

the inspection and tests in compliance with the normative quality requirements for project

contracts and equipment suppliers.

The Anita Garibaldi ship started on June 3, 2015 at Eisa Petro-One shipyard its maiden voyage.

▲ Itaguai Construções Navais S.A. – ICN

(24 October 2010 up to April 2015)

Transferred by Odebrecht to a new contract, the ICN shipyard, a joint venture with DCNS. DCNS, controlled by the French government formed a special purpose entity (SPE) with Odebrecht for the construction of submarines called Itaguaí Naval Constructions (ICN), whose shareholders Odebrecht, with 59% and DCNS, with 41 %. The program – PROSUB includes the construction of four conventional submarines and one submarine with nuclear propulsion. At the PROSUB program, I acted in two different functions: first as a Quality Manager and then as a Production Manager.

Production Manager for the Resistant Hulls of the Submarines (January 2014 up to March 2015)

Main responsibilities:

On the job training at DCNS Cherbourg – France , in 2011, 2012 and 2013, management of production and inspection activities / quality control in the construction of submarine. Several missions at the DCNS Cherbourg / France facilities for the transfer of technology for naval shipbuilding.

To manage the submarines resistant hulls manufacturing activities with two production lines: one at ICN and the second one at NUCLEP, management of the production department costs, coordination of production plan, quality control, manpower requirements , material requirements and inventory of finished products.

To ensure compliance with production targets, ensuring the best use of production and maintenance techniques, by drawing up a plan, coordinating and optimization of human resources and material resources from that unit. To contribute to the reduction of manufacturing costs of the unit and to minimize equipment downtime, through the preventive maintenance schedules, through a suitable production planning, to ensure the achievement of production goals. Coordinating the implementation of administrative activities, following the dispatch of work, materials management, surveillance and others.

To promote the development and qualification of human resources, through training programs, aimed at training or internal use of work force. To ensure operational process performance by optimizing the production process, in compliance with the requirements of the Brazilian Navy. To ensure that zero accident program is accomplished by coordinating the awareness of employee activities carried out by the Occupational Safety Technicians. Coordination of activities related to the Financial and Administrative Supplies of subordinate units.

Quality Manager

(September 2010 up to January 2014)

Main responsibilities:

To manage the activities of control and quality assurance by evaluating the quality plans,

inspection plans and tests, and key procedures; Coordinating of the nationalization and of the

assembly processes (structure, painting, gamagraphy, welding, tubes, galvanization, etc…) in

accordance with DCNS requirements. Responsible for the technical evaluation of the

subcontractors´ quality systems.

To act in the technical evaluation of subcontractors to verify their quality systems. Responsible for managing the entire quality system, including the Quality Control, testing, inspection, quality and nondestructive testing. Deployment of the Quality Plan and procedures for inspection and testing in compliance with quality requirements for project contracts and suppliers equipment’s; Responsible for the implementation of the Certificate of Conformity for different steps of the submarine construction based on the project authority – DCNS requirements.

Management of the homologation of mechanical testing laboratories under the requirements of

the project authority - DCNS for PROSUB program. Management of regular joint audits with

DCNS. Several missions at the project authority - DCNS facilities in France for the transfer of technology

activities. Theoretical and on the job training in 2011,2012 and 2013 for inspection management

and quality control in shipbuilding activities, including the general plan from the Scorpene

Quality Assurance Manager

Main responsibilities:

To perform civil, mechanical and electrical constructions of eight new industrial plants in the

Getulio Vargas Refinery - REPAR, at Araucária (Parana State), of Petrobras. The contract

concerns the construction of five gasoline plants and three of coke. One of the challenges of the

enterprise is the simultaneous execution of the executive project, of the civil construction and of

the industrial assembly the plants, which will have to be finish the constructions in the end of

2011. During the peak of the works, the project count approximately with 3,500 workforces.

Quality Construction Manager

Main responsibilities:

Main responsibilities: The conversion of the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading

FPSO P54 carried through in the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore and Integration and final assembly

in the Maua Shipyard. Responsible for the QSMS (Quality, Safety and Environmental

Management System), including tests, quality inspections and non-destructive testing

examination. Implementation of the Quality Control Plan for inspection procedures and tests in

the fulfillments of the requirements of quality for projects contracts and carry over´s suppliers.

Responsible for the system of certification of the units on board of the FPSO.

Main responsibilities:

Manager of the Quality Assurance Department with a strong customer orientation, as well the

pertinent government regulatory and standards (with the pertinent third-party audits and survey).

Also responsible for the SIG-MASSQ system (Integrated Manage System for Health, Safety,

Environment and Quality System)

Control of the implementation for the Integrated System (Quality, Environmental and

ISO Certification auditing the industry supply chain in over 250 companies (Brazil, Argentina,

Brazilian Navy Nuclear Research Center

Brazilian Navy Center for the design and development of naval nuclear propulsion for submarines

Quality Inspection Division Manager

Duties and Accomplishments:

Management of Quality System according the AIEA-50C-QA and CNEN-NE-1.16 quality

standards in the manufacturing of equipment and construction for nuclear processing plant for

design experimental installations and development for the Brazilian Navy of nuclear attack

submarines (SSN).

The Brazilian Navy has considered its nuclear submarine prototypes fleet, not research vessels.
