Metal`s anatomy
Anatomía del MetalMetal es un contenedor fabricado totalmente en metal, con cuba y estructura de las tapas de acero galvanizado en caliente y cobertura de tapas de aluminio. Gracias a la rigidez que le aporta el metal, se consigue un contenedor resistente, que soporta los esfuerzos del camión sin descuadrarse y mantiene su correcto funcionamiento durante más tiempo.
El sistema de apertura se basa en dos tapas basculantes. La tapa de usuario con una apertura constante de 580mm y una tapa de vaciado con una amplia apertura de 825mm que garantiza el correcto vaciado incluso de residuos voluminosos y con baja densidad (plásticos, cartones).
The Metal is a container entirely built from metal. The tank and the structure of the lids are manufactured in hot-dipped galvanized steel and the lids have an aluminium coating. The rigid nature of the metal provides a resistant container that can withstand the stresses imposed by trucks without distorting it, allowing it to function effectively for longer.
The opening system is based on two tilting lids: the users’ lid, with a constant opening of 580 mm, and an emptying lid, with a wide 825 mm opening, which ensures the container is fully emptied even when it contains bulky or low-density waste (such as plastics or cardboard).

La vida útil estimada en un contenedor de plástico es de 7 años, mientras que nuestro contenedor metálico, debido a sus materiales, tratamientos anticorrosión, pintura y calidad constructiva, tiene una vida útil estimada de 13 años.
La pintura al horno electrostática con polvo de poliéster termoendurecido, y tras un chorreado con arena, retrasa el envejecimiento del contenedor Metal, garantizando el mejor acabado y la máxima adherencia de la pintura al metal (sin desconchados). La expectativa de integridad de la pintura es de más de 10 años en condiciones de uso y exposición normal.
THE MOST DuRABLE CONTAINERThe estimated useful life of a plastic container is seven years, but our metal container has an estimated useful life of 13 years due to its materials, anti-corrosion treatments, paint finish and quality of its construction.
The baked electrostatic paint with thermosetting polyester powder and sand blasting slows down the ageing process of the Metal container, thus ensuring a better finish and the maximum adhesion of the paint to metal (without flaking). The expected integrity of the paintwork is over 10 years under normal conditions of exposure and use.

Por su estructura el contenedor Metal, además de evitar la propagación del fuego a otros elementos cercanos, se puede recuperar en caso de incendio, reduciendo así los elevados costes por reposición anuales. Normalmente, se podrá recuperar la cuba y demás elementos estructurales, simplemente con un proceso de lijado y pintado y sólo habrá que sustituir el aluminio de las tapas y partes plásticas.
FIREPROOF AND RuSTPROOFThe hot-dipped galvanizing after the welding process of all the steel parts, the lids with aluminium coating, the stainless steel axle of the lid, and the plastic or galvanized zinc-coated nuts and bolts make the container absolutely resistant to corrosion, even in the harshest environments.
Due to its structure, besides preventing fire from spreading to other surrounding elements, the Metal container can be reused after a fire, thus reducing high annual replacement costs. Normally, the tank and the other structural elements can be recovered by means of a sanding and painting process and only the plastic parts and the aluminium part of the lids will need to be replaced.
